ExactCrop is a free tool for cutting a photo down to the exact size a passport, visa or ID application asks for β 2Γ2 in for the United States, 35Γ45 mm for the UK and the Schengen countries, 33Γ48 mm for China, and 19 official sizes in total. Choose your photo, pick the size, then zoom and drag until the head sits the way that country's rules require. The export is written at true print resolution, 300 or 600 ppi, so the picture measures exactly what the rules describe when it comes off the printer.
